Tatiana Balachova, PhD, a Clinical Psychologist, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is Co-Director of the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Child Abuse and Neglect. She has served as an advisor for the World Health Organization and other international organizations and has presented in the US and internationally. She has conducted research in areas related to child maltreatment and alcohol abuse. Her clinical and research interests include Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, international issues in child abuse and neglect, and prevention of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
