Debra B. Hecht, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect in Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Her research interests include the development and evaluation of appropriate assessment and treatment programs for children who have been abused and neglected and their families. She currently is involved in an NIMH funded evaluation of a statewide service program to high-risk families provided by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She also currently is involved in the investigation and implementation of a program for children with sexual behavior problems, as well as the supervision and training of Psychology Interns, Post-Doctoral Fellows, and practicum students. |
