Overview

 

CCAN provides administrative services for several state organizations. These services include working with appointed boards and national committee members. The following programs are administered by CCAN:


Organizations

 

OKLAHOMA ADVISORY TASK FORCE ON CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT
The purpose of this task force is to make recommendations regarding the use of federally funded Children’s Justice Act monies in order to improve the handling of child abuse cases in Oklahoma.

CHILD DEATH REVIEW BOARD
The purpose of the Oklahoma Child Death Review Board (CDRB) is to reduce the number of preventable deaths through a multidisciplinary approach to case review. Through this review, the CDRB collects statistical data and system failure information to develop recommendations to improve the policies, procedures, and practices within and between agencies that protect and serve children.

NATIONAL CENTER ON SEXUAL BEHAVIOR OF YOUTH (NCSBY)
The NCSBY is designed to provide states, territories, and the District of Columbia with assistance in the management of children with sexual behavior problems and adolescent sex offenders, For more information see www.ncsby.org or contact Keri Pierce at (405) 271-8858. http://www.ncsby.org
